Florian Plakolm appointed Head Promoter at Arcadia Live
The Austrian concert promoter has promoted longtime booker Florian Plakolm to lead its live team, while founder Filip Potocki remains Managing Director and increases his focus on FKP Scorpio Poland.
Vienna-based concert promoter Arcadia Live has appointed Florian Plakolm as its new Head Promoter, effective 1 November 2026. He succeeds company founder Filip Potocki, who will remain Managing Director.
Plakolm has worked at Arcadia Live for almost five years, contributing to the company`s concert and festival programming. His responsibilities have included booking the LIDO SOUNDS festival in Linz and the METAStadt Open Air concert series in Vienna.
His previous bookings include two sold-out SOAP&SKIN performances at the Vienna State Opera, alongside shows by international artists including AIR, Blood Orange, Chet Faker, Babyshambles, Flo Rida, Garbage, IDLES, Jungle, Khruangbin, Little Simz, Max Richter, Sofia Isella and Yung Lean.
In his new position, Plakolm will oversee Arcadia Live`s live team and take a leading role in developing the company`s concert promotion activities.

Changes in Austria and Poland
Arcadia Live was established in 2015 as a German-Austrian concert promotion joint venture and is part of the FKP Scorpio Group, which belongs to the Eventim Live promoter network.
Founder Filip Potocki will continue as Managing Director of Arcadia Live, working closely with FKP Scorpio while placing greater emphasis on his responsibilities as Head Promoter at FKP Scorpio Poland.
The Polish operation is also strengthening its booking department with the addition of Jakub Soczewko, who brings several years of industry experience.
“We’ve built Arcadia Live over the past few years with a great deal of passion. Flo has played a key role in that journey and has more than earned this new position. I’m delighted that he’ll be taking on greater responsibility at Arcadia Live. I’ll remain Managing Director, continuing to contribute my experience and provide support and guidance wherever needed. With Flo by my side in Vienna, I’ll also be able to focus more on my role as Head Promoter at FKP Scorpio Poland, where Jakub Soczewko is strengthening the booking team, bringing many years of industry experience,” said Potocki.
The changes place Plakolm in charge of Arcadia Live`s concert promotion team in Austria while Potocki continues to oversee the company at management level and expands his focus on the Polish market.
