WME expands international music team with two new agents

WME has appointed Aleks Ljubojevic and Sophia Simon to its contemporary music division, strengthening the agency`s electronic music roster and international touring operations.

WME has announced the appointments of booking agents Aleks Ljubojevic and Sophia Simon as part of an expansion of its international music team. The appointments were confirmed on 29 October by Kirk Sommer, Global Head of Music at WME.

Ljubojevic joins WME from Amsterdam-based Ace Agency, where he worked with electronic music artists including Martin Garrix, Sam Feldt and Don Diablo. Based in London, he will report to Stephanie LaFera, Partner and Head of Electronic Music at WME.

As part of the move, Ljubojevic brings Steve Angello to WME for European representation of his solo career. Angello is also a member of Swedish House Mafia. His new role will focus on expanding WME`s electronic music roster and developing touring opportunities for both emerging and established artists.

Simon joins WME from So.Connected, an agency she founded in 2024 to develop international artists and music projects in Brazil. Her previous work includes projects and representation involving Martin Garrix, NE-YO, Jason Mraz, Maddix, Sean Paul, Alesso and Soulja Boy, as well as collaborations with Ultra Records.

She has also worked in artist management, including co-managing Brazilian singer-songwriter Giulia Be and holding a day-to-day management role at Milk & Honey.

Based in Spain, Simon will report to Rob Markus, Senior Partner and Head of International at WME.

Commenting on the appointments, Kirk Sommer said:

“Aleks and Sophia both have strong track records of developing talent, building international touring businesses, and creating opportunities for artists across key markets worldwide. The future of music is global, and their additions to our team continue to strengthen WME’s position as the leading agency for long-term global success.”

The appointments further expand WME`s international music operations, particularly in electronic music and the development of touring opportunities across European and Latin American markets.

While both agents have previously worked with several international artists, WME has so far only confirmed Steve Angello`s European solo representation as part of the announcement.
