Atlas Arena Joins Arenas Europe Network

Arenas Europe has expanded its presence in Poland with the addition of Atlas Arena in Łódź, bringing the number of Polish venues represented by the association to four.

Atlas Arena joins existing Polish members ERGO ARENA in Gdansk/Sopot, PreZero Arena Gliwice and TAURON Arena Kraków.

Opened in 2009, Atlas Arena is one of Poland’s largest indoor venues, with a capacity of up to 14,728 and 3,500 square metres of arena floor space. The multipurpose venue hosts more than 100 events annually, including international concerts, sporting competitions, family entertainment and corporate events. It is active approximately 250 days per year.

Strengthening the Polish Arena Network

Robert Fitzpatrick, President of Arenas Europe, welcomed the addition:

“We are delighted to welcome Atlas Arena to Arenas Europe. With four leading Polish arenas now represented in our network, we are strengthening our presence in one of Europe’s fastest-growing live entertainment markets.

“Atlas Arena brings valuable expertise and ambition to our community. As our membership grows, so does our ability to champion the arena sector and demonstrate its cultural, economic and social value across Europe.”

Maciej Laski, Managing Director of Atlas Arena, highlighted opportunities for knowledge sharing and cooperation with other European venues.

“Joining Arenas Europe is an important step for Atlas Arena. We look forward to learning from our colleagues across Europe and sharing our own experience, from modernising our venue without closing to building strong city partnerships. By exchanging practical knowledge and ideas, we can create better experiences for artists, promoters and audiences. We are proud to be part of this community.”

Arenas Europe Expands to 49 Venues

With the addition of Atlas Arena, Arenas Europe now represents 49 arenas across 21 European countries.

Formerly known as the European Arenas Association, the organisation has operated for 35 years, bringing together arena operators to exchange industry knowledge, develop professional standards and promote collaboration across the European live entertainment sector.

The association also operates Arenas Europe Education, a professional development programme that includes an MSc Business in Technology delivered in partnership with Ulster University Business School, alongside a growing range of micro-credentials.
