Steve Homer to Leave AEG Presents UK After 10 Years
Steve Homer, President of UK Touring at AEG Presents, is leaving the company after a decade to pursue a new business venture, according to Pollstar.
Homer`s departure was confirmed in an internal memo from Jim King, CEO of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals, obtained by Pollstar.
According to the memo, Homer will continue collaborating with AEG Presents on selected co-promoted tours, maintaining a working relationship with the company following his departure.
"We thank Steve for his contribution over the last ten years and wish him every success in the future," King wrote.
Homer joined AEG Presents UK in 2016 as co-CEO alongside Toby Leighton-Pope, with both executives arriving from Live Nation, where they had spent approximately 15 years. Following Leighton-Pope`s departure in 2022, Homer continued to lead AEG`s UK promoting business.
In 2025, Homer became President of UK Touring as part of a management restructuring that saw Jim King take on an expanded role overseeing AEG Presents UK and its European festival operations.
Homer has been involved in promoting major international artists including Katy Perry, Kylie Minogue, Billy Joel, Pet Shop Boys and The Hives. During his time at AEG, he also helped expand the company`s UK concert promotion operations and venue portfolio, including The Halls Wolverhampton and the British Airways ARC at Olympia in London.
His career in the live entertainment industry spans more than three decades, including senior positions at Live Nation before joining AEG.
The departure follows wider changes to AEG`s international management structure, including the appointment of Adam Wilkes as President and CEO of AEG Presents Europe and Asia-Pacific.
Further details of Homer`s new business venture, including its name and planned activities, have not yet been disclosed.
