Everywhere At Once Brings 2,000 Artists to 400 UK Venues
The inaugural Everywhere At Once festival took place across the UK from June 26–28, bringing together more than 2,000 artists and over 400 grassroots music venues in what organisers described as the country`s largest coordinated grassroots music festival.
Held during the weekend that would traditionally have hosted the Glastonbury Festival, the nationwide event was organised by Music Venue Trust (MVT) with support from The National Lottery. The festival aimed to highlight the role of grassroots venues in the UK`s live music ecosystem.
The programme featured a mix of established and emerging artists, with intimate performances by acts including Fatboy Slim, Tinie Tempah, Rizzle Kicks, Glenn Tilbrook, Becky Hill and The Lathums. Other performers included Lucy Spraggan, Gene, D Double E, P Money, Toddla T, The Divine Comedy, Jodie Harsh, Master Peace, Brooke Combe and Inspiral Carpets, alongside hundreds of local artists.
The festival spanned a broad range of musical genres, including electronic, indie, rock, grime, pop, jazz, folk, punk and soul, with performances taking place in independent venues across the UK.
According to MVT, the event attracted tens of thousands of music fans over the three-day period. The charity said the festival was designed to celebrate grassroots venues while encouraging audiences to support live music in their local communities.
Everywhere At Once was delivered by Music Venue Trust in partnership with Save Our Scene and the Association of Independent Promoters. The festival also supported charities including War Child, Nordoff Robbins, Help Musicians and Teenage Cancer Trust.
