Belgian Festival Cancels 2027 Edition
FKP Scorpio Belgium`s Antwerp festival Live Is Live will not return in 2027, despite attracting 75,000 visitors to its latest edition in June.
Belgian festival Live Is Live has announced that it will not take place in 2027. The organisers confirmed the decision through an Instagram statement on 30 October, without providing a reason for the cancellation.
"After four special editions, we will not organise a new edition of Live Is Live in 2027," the festival stated, thanking the audiences, artists and staff who contributed to its previous editions.
Organised by FKP Scorpio Belgium, led by Managing Director Jan Digneffe, Live Is Live launched in 2022 on the beach in Zeebrugge before relocating to Middenvijver Park in Antwerp.
The festival`s most recent edition, held in June 2026, featured headline performances by Robbie Williams, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Iron Maiden, attracting approximately 75,000 visitors over three days.
According to Belgian media reports, the 2026 event did not sell out, with ticket sales reportedly falling below expectations.
Live Is Live previously skipped 2025, reportedly due to difficulties assembling a suitable line-up of international headliners.
