Drake Moves From Wasserman to CAA

Drake has ended his long-running relationship with his Agent Brent Smith and will now be represented by CAA.

According to industry sources, Drake and longtime agent Brent Smith — now executive vice president and managing executive at Wasserman Music — have not actively worked together through most of 2025 according to Billboard.

Drake had been represented by Smith for more than a decade, beginning at WME and continuing after Smith joined Wasserman Music in 2020.

His new representation at CAA will be led by a team headed by Daryl Eaton, according to reports.

Drake is expected to launch a new Live Nation-promoted global tour in 2026, continuing his long-standing partnership with the promoter.

Drake’s split from Wasserman also ends a period when he and Lamar shared the same booking agent, a point that had drawn industry interest during the artists` escalating rivalry. The broader dispute over Lamar’s “Not Like Us” — which prompted legal action later dismissed by a federal judge — remains ongoing on appeal.
