Marshall Arts Issues Warning Over Fraudulent Emails

London-based concert promoter and tour production company Marshall Arts has alerted its network of industry partners after discovering an ongoing impersonation scam using the company’s name.

The fraudulent activity involves fake email accounts designed to resemble official Marshall Arts addresses.

The senders claim to represent company founder Barrie Marshall and attempt to secure advance payments for non-existent live bookings.

According to IQ Magazine, the company said it had received multiple reports of deceptive messages circulating among promoters and agents. “These emails include fabricated offers and deposit requests connected to artists we represent,” Marshall Arts noted, urging anyone receiving such communications to verify their authenticity before responding.

Marshall Arts has implemented additional safeguards and is cooperating with partners to limit the spread of the scam.

The company is known for its long-standing work with major artists including Paul McCartney, Elton John, Lionel Richie, Herbie Hancock, and Annie Lennox.
