Duck Club Entertainment Expands Talent Buying Team
Idaho-based concert promoter and festival organizer Duck Club Entertainment has expanded its talent buying department with two new appointments.
Longtime New York promoter Jake Szufnarowski (pictured) joins as Senior Talent Buyer, while Izze Rumpp steps in as Talent Buyer.
The company said the additions “demonstrate Duck Club’s ongoing commitment to growing live music opportunities in Boise, the Treasure Valley and across Idaho.”
Duck Club Entertainment produces the Treefort Music Fest (March 25–29, 2026) and operates several Boise venues, including Treefort Music Hall, the Hap Hap Lounge, and the Shrine Social Club. The company’s Duck Club Presents brand curates concerts across Idaho, while Duck Club Touring books emerging artists nationwide, with a roster that includes Blood Lemon, French Cassettes, Disco Doom, The Shivas, and Sunbathe.
Szufnarowski has been part of the New York music scene since the 1990s, starting at the influential Wetlands Preserve and later serving as a talent buyer for The Bowery Presents (AEG), booking venues such as Terminal 5, Brooklyn Steel, and Webster Hall. Now based in Idaho, he will continue overseeing the Rocks Off Concert Cruise series from Boise.
“I fell in love with Idaho and its people,” Szufnarowski said. “Boise reminds me of Austin and SXSW in the late ’90s — a thriving creative hub in a rapidly growing city with a huge appetite for live music.”
Rumpp, a Boise-based promoter, curator, and DJ, has collaborated with Duck Club for more than a decade, helping shape Treefort’s programming and launching Artfort, the festival’s art-focused track.
“Returning to Boise and joining the Duck Club team feels like a full-circle moment,” Rumpp said. “It’s inspiring to be part of a community that continues to nurture and expand the city’s music scene.”
