AEG Presents acquires stake in Germany’s MCT Agentur

AEG Presents has announced a partnership with MCT Agentur, the German concert promotion firm founded by Scumeck Sabottka in 1984. The agreement strengthens AEG Presents’ presence in Germany and aligns the two companies strategically to expand their reach in Europe and beyond. MCT, based in Berlin since 1999, has played a pivotal role in advancing both international and German artists, supporting their progression from club performances to large-scale arenas and stadiums. Its roster includes renowned acts such as Rammstein, Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Florence and the Machine, Björk, Massive Attack, and many more. Reflecting on the partnership, Sabottka emphasized his trust in AEG Presents` CEO Jay Marciano, citing years of friendship and shared business vision. “Concert promotion is a gamble, but having a partner like Jay adds strength and trust,” Sabottka said.
