German singer Yvonne Catterfeld has canceled two upcoming shows on her “Move” tour, citing low ticket demand and high production costs.
The affected concerts were scheduled for May 23 in Leipzig and May 25 in Dresden.
In a statement shared on Instagram with her 323,000 followers, Catterfeld said the decision was made “with a heavy heart,” adding that transparency with fans was important to her. She explained that touring has become increasingly expensive due to the large team required both on and off stage, making the canceled shows financially unviable despite her efforts to keep ticket prices fair.
The concerts were set to be organised by Dresden-based Bernd Aust Kulturmanagement, with Neuland Concerts serving as the tour promoter.
