CTS Eventim has announced the appointment of Luca Martinazzoli as the new Managing Director of Arena Milano, effective January 1, 2025.
In this role, Martinazzoli will oversee the operational management, business development, and strategic positioning of the venue, aiming to establish it as Italy’s premier cultural and entertainment hub. His immediate focus will be on building a strong team to ensure the arena`s success.
Located in Milan, a city renowned for its vibrant cultural and economic scene, Arena Milano is slated for completion by the end of 2025. The venue is set to host the ice hockey competitions during the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan-Cortina and will open its doors for concerts and major events in the spring of 2026. Designed to meet the highest standards of international live entertainment and sports, Arena Milano aims to provide a unique experience for both audiences and performers.
Martinazzoli brings significant leadership experience to the role, having previously served as General Manager at Milano & Partners, the city’s destination marketing agency, where he played a key role in enhancing Milan’s global reputation as a destination for tourism, events, and investment.
He has also held senior positions at Nike, including Category Brand Director EMEA South and Football Brand Director EMEA, and most recently served as Senior Director of Business Development & Strategy at New Guards Group, overseeing brands such as Off-White and Reebok in Europe.
