Paul McCartney is set to fulfill his promise to `get back` to his fans in Europe. The legendary musician will bring his Got Back tour to France, Spain, and the UK, marking his first European shows since his iconic Glastonbury headlining performance in 2022.
Earlier this month, McCartney announced his first live shows of 2024, with the next leg of the tour launching in South America this October. The tour features timeless hits such as "Hey Jude," "Live and Let Die," "Band on the Run," and "Let It Be," offering a live experience packed with over 60 years of music history.
McCartney`s last European performance was celebrated as "one of the greatest gigs of all time" by The Times and a "masterclass from the greatest living cultural figure in this country’s history" by The i. It also marked the 500th show with his band. The upcoming tour will see McCartney return to Paris for the first time in six years, where he last performed at La Defense Arena. Spanish fans have waited even longer, as McCartney`s last performance in Spain was in 2016 at Estadio Vincente Calderon.
The Got Back tour, launched in 2022, saw McCartney perform 16 major shows across the US before his historic Glastonbury set. In 2023, the tour continued to captivate audiences with 18 shows across Australia, Mexico, and Brazil. Now, European fans eagerly await McCartney`s return for what promises to be another unforgettable musical journey.
