Finland’s 2026 Industry Awards winners announced

Finland’s annual Industry Awards were presented at Tampere Hall on October 2 as part of the Music x Media industry event.

A total of 29 awards were handed out across 27 categories, recognising professionals, companies, events and organisations across the Finnish music business.

The 2026 winners are:

Radio Professional of the Year: Anne Lainto, YleX

Music Media of the Year: Yle Musiikki

Cornerstone of the Year: Jojo “Johanna” von Hertzen, Mimmi Label & Suomen Musiikintekijät

Future Visionary of the Year: Maiju Talvisto, SheSaid.So Finland

Agency of the Year: Alt Agency & Management

Promoter or Artistic Director of the Year: Samu Forsblom, Oulu2026 Euroopan kulttuuripääkaupunki

Media Influencer of the Year: Katri Norrlin, YleX & UMK

Deed of the Year – Special Award: Eero Koivistoinen, Janne Mäkelä and Matti Laipio for the Jazz Suomi 100 history project

Deed of the Year – Special Award: Rockadillo and Tampereen kaupunki for bringing WOMEX to Finland for a second time

Association of the Year: Suomen Musiikintekijät

LUO(V)UUS Award: Diivavälitys

Music Programme of the Year: Radio Suomen Musiikki-ilta

Booking Agent of the Year: Johanna Sauramäki, Saura Booking Agency Oy

Indie Label of the Year: Lördag

Music Publisher of the Year: Kaiku Songs

A&R Person of the Year: Gabi Hakanen, Vallila Music House Oy

Manager of the Year: Veronika Mikheeva, MAD Agency

Lifetime Achievement Award: Aku Syrjä

Lifetime Achievement Award: Tuula Sarotie

The Deed of the Year special awards went to Eero Koivistoinen, Janne Mäkelä and Matti Laipio for the Jazz Finland 100 history project, and to Rockadillo and the City of Tampere for bringing WOMEX to Finland for a second time.

The Industry Awards have been presented since 1995. Winners are selected through a combination of industry jury voting and audience voting, weighted 70% and 30% respectively.
