The Great Escape expands 2026 programme with 130+ artists

The Great Escape has announced a further wave of more than 130 artists for its 2026 edition, while reaffirming its position as the UK’s leading showcase festival and conference for new music.

The event returns to Brighton from 13–16 May 2026, combining an extensive live programme with a multi-day B2B-focused conference.

Alongside newly announced acts including The Lottery Winners, Mark William Lewis, BIG WETT, VILLANELLE, Keo, Haute & Freddy, Mother Soki, Min Taka, Lime Garden and Lord Apex, The Great Escape 2026 will once again place strong emphasis on its industry conference, which attracts agents, promoters, festival bookers, labels, managers and music export organisations from the UK, Europe and beyond.

As a UK showcase festival and conference, The Great Escape is designed to connect emerging artists with international decision-makers. The 2026 conference programme will feature panels, keynotes, workshops and curated networking sessions addressing touring, artist development, export strategies, sustainability and new business models across the live music ecosystem.

A key element of the 2026 conference is New Zealand’s role as Lead Country Partner. Working with the New Zealand Music Commission and Live Nation New Zealand, the partnership will deliver dedicated industry panels, receptions and official showcases aimed at strengthening international collaboration and export opportunities.

In parallel with the conference activity, the festival has confirmed that Peaches will headline a Spotlight Show at Brighton Dome Concert Hall on 15 May 2026, ticketed separately from the main festival.

The 2026 edition also sees music management company Raw Power partner with The Great Escape as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, further underlining the event’s close ties to the professional live music community.

With more than 450 artists expected across 35+ walkable venues, and an expanded conference running alongside the showcases, The Great Escape 2026 is set to remain a central meeting point for the UK and international live music industry.
