Blue Note Jazz Club to Open First UK Venue in London

Blue Note Jazz Club will open its first UK location in London’s West End on 23 September, marking a further expansion of the Blue Note Entertainment Group’s international venue network.
Located on St Martin’s Lane in Covent Garden, Blue Note London will feature a 250-capacity main room hosting two shows each night, at 7pm and 9.30pm. A second 100-capacity space, B-Side, is scheduled to open later in 2026 with a focus on emerging British talent.
Five-time GRAMMY-winning artist Robert Glasper will headline the venue’s opening shows on 23 and 24 September before returning for a further seven performances in November. Glasper will also serve as a creative ambassador for Blue Note London.
The first programme will also include performances and residencies from Erykah Badu, Jamie Cullum, Nubya Garcia, Yussef Dayes, KOKOROKO and Hak Baker, alongside further international and UK artists.

Blue Note London will programme established international artists alongside UK acts and emerging talent across jazz and related genres. The venue is also expected to host occasional surprise performances from major artists, following the model used at other Blue Note clubs.

The venue has been designed by Julien Legeard of Legeard Studio and will also include food and beverage operations.
Blue Note London’s opening on 23 September coincides with the 100th anniversary of the birth of jazz saxophonist and composer John Coltrane.
