Connecting the live music industry
Atlas Arena in Łódź, Poland, welcomed more than 250,000 visitors during the first six months of 2026, reinforcing its position as one of the country`s leading indoor live entertainment venues.
Between January and June, the arena staged 32 concerts, sporting events and entertainment productions, with six events selling out. The programme featured a mix of international touring artists, major domestic productions, sports events and family entertainment.
According to the venue, the first half of the year required approximately 90 production days, with the arena occupied by either event build-ups, live productions or load-outs for around half of the period, while venue improvement projects continued in parallel.
Atlas Arena also continued investing in its infrastructure during the first half of 2026. The venue increased its maximum capacity to 14,728 seats, installed a new draping system and added retractable seating to provide greater flexibility for different event formats. Construction is also underway to modernise backstage facilities and sports warm-up areas, with the upgrades designed to improve production logistics, touring operations and working conditions for visiting crews.
The venue reported significant growth across its digital platforms, with its TikTok audience increasing by 345% during the first half of the year. Atlas Arena said its Instagram and Facebook channels now reach more than two million users each month.
The arena`s activity also contributed to the local visitor economy. According to the Lódz Tourism Organisation, hotel occupancy during major events ranged between 85% and 97%, while the number of domestic tourists visiting Lódz increased by 13% compared with the first half of 2025. The organisation highlighted live events as a key driver of the city`s growing event tourism market.
Atlas Arena`s second-half calendar remains busy, with concerts by international touring artists including Marilyn Manson, Scorpions, Deep Purple, Placebo, Hollywood Vampires, Jungle, Pitbull and two performances by A$AP Rocky. The venue will also host the Polish Handball Super Cup alongside several large-scale family entertainment productions.
Opened in 2009, Atlas Arena is one of Poland`s largest multipurpose indoor venues, hosting international touring productions, concerts, sporting events and entertainment throughout the year. The venue`s first-half results underline continued demand for large-scale live events in the Polish market while ongoing infrastructure investments are aimed at strengthening its appeal for promoters, touring productions and event organisers.
