Colwell joins the company from Halo Sports & Entertainment, where she served as General Manager overseeing both the Kia Forum and Intuit Dome in California. She will report to Amy Latimer, Chief Business Officer at Oak View Group.

According to Latimer, the appointments are part of the company’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its global content and booking strategy. She noted that Colwell brings extensive experience, industry relationships, and a strong track record in programming, while Shulman has played a key role in shaping the company’s booking approach.

In her new role, Colwell will oversee the long-term content strategy across OVG’s global portfolio of sports, entertainment, and live-event venues. Her responsibilities include driving venue utilisation and profitability, developing relationships with artists, promoters, agents and media partners, and managing booking strategies across concerts, sports, touring productions, and other live formats.

Colwell has nearly three decades of experience in the live events sector. Her previous roles include positions at Live Nation, SMG, and ASM Global, as well as leadership roles at venues including the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. At Halo Sports & Entertainment, she oversaw the financial and strategic direction of concerts and special events across its venues.

Mark Shulman, who has more than 30 years of experience in the entertainment industry, steps into an expanded role as EVP of Programming and Content for OVG East. He will lead regional programming teams and oversee event booking across multiple venues in North America’s eastern region, including UBS Arena, CFG Bank Arena, PPG Paints Arena, PeoplesBank Arena, TD Coliseum, Citi Field, and Beaver Stadium.

In addition to his regional responsibilities, Shulman will work with senior leadership on the company’s national programming strategy, aligning regional execution with broader business objectives.

During his time at Oak View Group, Shulman has overseen programming for a wide range of events, including concerts by artists such as Harry Styles, Bruce Springsteen, Kendrick Lamar, Eagles, Billie Eilish, and Drake.
