Lalot will take up his new position at Hellfest in early April 2026, following more than 25 years shaping the artistic direction of Les Eurockéennes, one of France’s leading multi-genre festivals.

Over the past two decades, he has played a central role in developing the festival’s international profile and diverse programming.

At Les Eurockéennes, Jérémy Durand is set to succeed Lalot in overseeing programming. Durand steps into the role as the festival continues to position itself as a key player in the European summer festival circuit.

Founded in 1989 and held annually in Belfort, Les Eurockéennes de Belfort is one of France’s largest open-air festivals, known for its broad programming spanning rock, pop, electronic and hip-hop. The event typically attracts more than 100,000 attendees each year and has built a strong reputation for combining international headliners with emerging talent.

Hellfest, launched in 2006 and held in Clisson, has grown into one of Europe’s leading rock and metal festivals. The event regularly hosts more than 180 artists across multiple stages and draws audiences from across Europe, with a strong focus on hard rock, metal and alternative genres.
