Based in Nashville, Richards becomes the agency’s first dedicated head of festivals. He brings nearly a decade of experience across agencies, festivals and talent buying teams, and will focus on expanding Ground Control Touring’s festival activity while strengthening relationships across the international festival ecosystem.

Hubbard joins as festivals coordinator following several years in the booking department at The Bowery Presents in New York, where she worked on concerts at venues including Webster Hall and Forest Hills Stadium. Prior to that, she served as assistant to the head of concerts at Agency for Performing Arts in Los Angeles from 2018 to 2020.

Ground Control Touring represents a roster spanning alternative, indie and rock, and is marking its 25th year in business. The agency, led by president Eric Dimenstein, continues to grow its team and client base as part of a broader post-pandemic expansion, with offices in New York and Los Angeles.

The new appointments form part of a broader investment in the agency’s festival-facing strategy, as Ground Control Touring looks to build on its existing presence in the US and international festival markets.
