WME’s Music for Visual Media department has merged with Allegro Talent Group, the boutique agency founded by Patty Macmillan in 2012.
The move creates a new division focused on film, television, and music for visual media, blending WME’s global reach with Allegro’s artist-centred approach.
As part of the merger, Patty Macmillan and agent Lauren Kahler will join WME, bringing their roster of composers and music supervisors. They will work alongside WME partner Bradley Rainey, who continues to lead the Music for Visual Media department.
Rainey welcomed the merger, highlighting Allegro’s “deep artistic integrity and bespoke client development,” and said the collaboration would open new opportunities across film, television, gaming, and emerging platforms.
Macmillan said the partnership was driven by shared values of creative trust and long-term career development, adding that the merger would give clients “the scale and reach of a global powerhouse.”
The combined division represents many of the industry’s most celebrated composers, including six of the last seven Oscar winners for Best Original Score.
