Connecting the live music industry
US based International Music Network (IMN) will undergo a change in ownership at the start of 2026, with longtime agents Jeanna Disney and Alycia Mack set to take over leadership of the company.
Founder and director Scott Southard, who established IMN in 1985, will step back from agency operations while continuing to manage a select roster of clients, including Brad Mehldau, Joe Lovano, and Danilo Pérez.
Disney and Mack, who joined IMN in 1998 and 2001 respectively, will oversee the agency’s broader business and roster of artists under a newly formed company, Big Names LLC, which will operate under the IMN name.
The roster includes Chucho Valdés, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, John Scofield, Lila Downs, Cherish The Ladies, Dave Holland, Kenny Barron, Kathy Mattea, Regina Carter, and Stanley Clarke, among others.
The transition coincides with IMN’s 40th anniversary. Since its founding, the agency has been recognized for advancing cross-cultural exchange and playing a central role in establishing jazz and global music within the performing arts.
Southard said the change reflects both continuity and renewal: “I’m proud of what we’ve built over the past four decades, and I’m grateful to know the agency is in steady hands with Jeanna and Alycia, who have been integral to IMN for more than 25 years.”
Disney noted that the leadership transition has been in preparation for some time. “This is more than a new role for us—it’s a journey we are eager to embark on, building on Scott’s legacy and continuing to provide creative, personalized service for our artists,” she said. Mack added that she looks forward to combining their shared experience “to help foster change in the industry and continue to support both established icons and the next generation of artists.”
Southard will continue his work in artist management under Scott Southard Talent Inc., which will also do business as IMN.
