Siyabend Süvari, a prominent figure in Türkiye’s live music industry, has died at the age of 45.

According to reports, Süvari had been undergoing treatment for cancer for eight years. 

Süvari was widely regarded as one of Türkiye’s most influential music promoters, credited with bringing internationally renowned acts such as Metallica, Bon Jovi, and Muse to the country. He played a leading role in major rock and alternative music events, including the Turkish edition of the Sonisphere Festival.

Beginning his career at a young age, Süvari was known for his innovative approach to event production and his previous experience as a guitarist. His work helped shape Türkiye’s rock and metal festival scene, earning him a reputation for dedication and charisma within the industry.

News of his death on August 8, 2025, has prompted tributes from across the music community. Journalist Kanat Atkaya described him as “a great warrior” and “a wonderful friend,” while musician Ferman Akgül said, “You were always in our hearts and you always will be.”
