Just weeks after its sister festival Rock am Ring sold out, German festival Rock im Park has now followed suit.

Organizers PRK DreamHaus and Argo Konzerte have confirmed that all 88,500 tickets for the iconic open-air festival in Nuremberg have been sold.

This year marks a joint milestone: 30 years of Rock im Park and 40 years of Rock am Ring. The festivals celebrate what organizers call “the ongoing importance of the `Rocks` as cornerstones of Germany’s festival culture.”

“The demand speaks volumes about the appeal of Germany’s biggest inner-city festival,” said a statement from Berlin. “Set in the heart of the city, with top-tier transport links and a lineup unmatched across Europe, Rock im Park continues to shine.”

Matt Schwarz, CEO of PRK DreamHaus and eventimpresents, added: “The anticipation is massive. This result is overwhelming and shows how deeply rooted Rock im Park is in the region.” He praised the festival’s unique urban setting near Nuremberg’s Volkspark Dutzendteich and Zeppelinfeld, calling it “a one-of-a-kind experience in the middle of city nature.”

Originally held in Vienna and Munich, Rock im Park has called Nuremberg home since 1997, becoming one of Europe’s most influential festivals. Past performers include Metallica, Rammstein, Depeche Mode, Pearl Jam, and Bob Dylan.

The 2025 edition will host around 100 acts from June 6–8 across four stages. Confirmed names include Bring Me The Horizon, Slipknot, Sleep Token, Korn, The Prodigy, Rise Against, K.I.Z, Weezer, and Tocotronic.
