The highly anticipated Oasis comeback tour has completely sold out across the UK and Ireland, with tickets for all 17 announced dates snapped up within hours.

However, the ticketing process has drawn significant criticism from fans, particularly over the use of "dynamic pricing."

As excitement built throughout the day, hundreds of thousands of fans joined online queues, hoping to secure a spot at the first Oasis tour since the band`s acrimonious split. However, many were left frustrated by soaring ticket prices, which escalated as demand surged.

Originally priced at £135, some standing tickets for venues like Cardiff, London, and Edinburgh skyrocketed to over £350 due to Ticketmaster`s dynamic pricing model.

This system, which adjusts prices based on real-time demand, led to widespread anger among fans, who took to social media to voice their concerns.

Ticketmaster, which facilitated the sales, clarified that it does not set the prices, stating that "Promoters and artists set ticket prices. Prices can be either fixed or market-based. Market-based tickets are labelled as `Platinum` or `In Demand`." The company also confirmed that the higher prices do not include any additional benefits for fans.

Despite the backlash, Oasis and the tour`s promoters have not commented on the controversy. While dynamic pricing is legal under consumer protection laws, its application in this instance has reignited debate over the fairness of such practices in the live music industry.
