Applications for Australia`s Revive Live program are now open, offering grants to support established live music venues and contemporary music festivals.
Announced in the 2024-25 budget, Revive Live aims to foster a sustainable operating environment to protect performance opportunities and promote the development of original contemporary music by Australian artists.
The program will focus on enhancing accessibility and participation opportunities for audiences, as well as creating career pathways for musicians and music workers with disabilities.
The Australian Government has allocated A$7.7 million (€5 million) in grant funding for the Revive Live program over 2024-25.
Revive Live also aims to safeguard performance opportunities for Australian artists and create a sustainable live music ecosystem amidst rising operational costs for venues and festivals.
Applications for this round of funding will close on August 23.
