Australia`s Spilt Milk music festival has become the latest casualty in the nation`s festival circuit this year, following in the footsteps of Splendour in the Grass and Groovin the Moo.

The festival`s organisers broke the news on Instagram, expressing their disappointment at not being able to provide the festival experience that fans were looking forward to.

"Sorry pookies, we couldn’t get you the Spilt Milk you deserve this year. Sooo imma dip for a bit and come back when I can make all ur dreams come true. I miss u xx SPILT MILK," the announcement stated.

Spilt Milk is a unique festival that travels to various cities including Canberra, Gold Coast, Ballarat, and Perth. Last year, it featured big names such as Post Malone and Dom Dolla.

The festival has been a part of Australia`s music scene since its debut in 2016.

Earlier this year, Groovin the Moo was cancelled due to low ticket sales. This festival, established in 2005 by Cattleyard Promotions, has traditionally toured regional locations outside of Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane.

In the following month, Splendour in the Grass—organized by Live Nation-backed Secret Sounds—also announced the cancellation of its 2024 edition, just two weeks after unveiling its lineup.

While Spilt Milk`s organisers did not specify the exact reasons for their cancellation, their statement hinted at a hopeful return in the future.
