Agents Barbara Frum and Michelle Martinez join WME
WME has expanded its contemporary music department with the appointments of Barbara Frum and Michelle Martinez as agents.
Kirk Sommer, global head of contemporary music and touring at WME, said the agency expects both hires to contribute through their experience across touring, strategy and artist development.
Frum, who will be based in the agency’s Beverly Hills office, joins from Outer/Most Agency, where she worked in international touring with artists including Rhiannon Giddens, Hermanos Gutiérrez and oskar med k. At WME, she will continue focusing on international touring, with an emphasis on electronic, pop and rock artists across Canada.
Before joining Outer/Most, Frum founded Sharing Spaces, an independent agency and artist management company.
Martinez joins from Creative Artists Agency, where she worked with artists including Coi Leray, Key Glock, Lance Bass, Fivio Foreign and Natalie Jane. Based in New York, she will work with a roster spanning established and emerging talent, including Jai`Len Josey, Soulidified and Oliver Malcolm.
