Lucy Dickins Joins CAA After Departing WME

Lucy Dickins is set to join Creative Artists Agency (CAA), with the agency confirming that the former WME co-head of music will take up her new role in mid-April.

The move follows Dickins’ departure from WME, where she served as global head of contemporary music and touring. Her exit from the agency was confirmed on Friday.

Industry speculation about her next move had already been circulating, with VIP-News reporting rumours about a potential switch to CAA two days earlier.

At CAA, Dickins will join the agency’s managing director committee while continuing to work directly with leading music artists.

“Lucy is a tremendous business leader and exceptional agent, with a deep understanding of talent and what it takes to help them realize their most ambitious goals,” said CAA Co-Chairman and CEO Bryan Lourd.

“She’s a dynamic, thoughtful and hands-on leader with invaluable global management experience, creativity, and strategic insight. We look forward to working with her across all divisions of our company.”

Dickins also commented on the move, stating: “I’m really excited to be joining CAA. I’ve long admired the vision and leadership of the company and the incredible team behind it. What matters most to me is the opportunity to continue building deep creative partnerships with artists and helping them realize their ambitions on a global stage.”

Dickins joined WME in 2019 after more than two decades at UK-based agency International Booking Talent (ITB), which was founded by her father Barry Dickins and Rod MacSween.
