UTA appoints Darnell Strom to lead UK Office
United Talent Agency (UTA) has appointed Darnell Strom as head of its UK office, taking over leadership from longtime music agent Neil Warnock MBE, who previously co-led the London operation.
The move marks a strategic shift for UTA as it continues to grow its presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Strom, who was most recently head of the agency’s Culture & Commerce division in Los Angeles, will relocate to London for the newly created sole leadership role.
Warnock, a veteran figure in the global music industry and one of the most respected agents in the business, had co-led UTA’s UK office alongside Obi Asika. With Asika stepping back earlier this year to focus on his Malachite Group, Warnock now transitions away from a leadership role as Strom takes over to guide UTA’s next phase in the region.
“This marks an exciting new chapter for UTA,” said CEO David Kramer. “Darnell has long been a connector across departments, industries, and geographies. His deep relationships and creative vision make him uniquely suited to lead this next phase of our international expansion.”
Strom brings cross-industry expertise and a strong global client network, representing names like Malala Yousafzai, Michaela Coel, Karlie Kloss, and Jon Batiste. In London, he will work closely with teams across music, brand marketing, creators, comedy, and advisory services, and collaborate with recently acquired companies Curtis Brown and ROOF Football Agency.
“London is one of the most dynamic and creative markets in the world, and UTA has only scratched the surface of what’s possible here,” Strom said in a statement.
