BDKV launches coaching network

The German Federal Association of the Concert and Event Industry (BDKV) is expanding its BDKV Academy by introducing a curated coaching network. The new initiative aims to support industry professionals—entrepreneurs, managers, and employees alike—with personalized development in response to ongoing changes in the live events sector. Through one-on-one coaching, webinars, and workshops, members will gain guidance on topics such as generational transitions, leadership, team structures, communication, resilience, stress prevention, and employer branding. “Economic success today requires more than expertise—it demands adaptable structures and resilient teams,” said BDKV Managing Director Johannes Everke (pictured). The coaching team includes experts like Mareike Bergunde, Florian Brauch, and Anne Löhr, all selected for their deep knowledge of the industry’s day-to-day realities. Starting in May, which is Mental Health Month, BDKV will also launch its weekly newsletter featuring mental health and leadership insights from the coaches. President Sonia Simmenauer emphasized the program’s relevance: “In times of change, good advice is invaluable. We`re creating tangible value for the future of our industry.”
