Austrian Nuke Festival returns after 10-Year hiatus

Nuke festival is set to return to Graz on August 30, 2025, following a ten-year break. Organisers have announced a diverse lineup, with performances from Berlin DJ Paul Kalkbrenner, Salzburg’s electro duo Klangkarussell, and singer-songwriter Alexander Eder. Additional acts are expected to be revealed in the coming months. First held in 1999 at the Zwentendorf nuclear power plant, the festival takes its name from its original location. Over the years, it has featured prominent artists, including Coldplay and The Chemical Brothers. The event moved to Graz in 2015, where it was well-received, although plans for a 2016 edition did not materialise. This year’s festival will be held at Graz’s exhibition grounds and will aim to provide an array of music styles, including electronic, indie, and urban sounds, to appeal to a wide audience.
