CTS Eventim surpasses EUR 2 billion in nine-month revenue

CTS EVENTIM achieved record revenue of EUR 2.027 billion in the first three quarters of 2024, a 15.

CTS EVENTIM achieved record revenue of EUR 2.027 billion in the first three quarters of 2024, a 15.8% increase year-over-year. Adjusted EBITDA rose by 12.1% to €322.7 million, maintaining a robust EBITDA margin of 15.9%. Despite economic challenges and high cost pressures, the company remains on a strong growth trajectory. Live Entertainment Revenue from the Live Entertainment segment increased by 13.6% to EUR 1.494 billion. Growth was supported by successful presales for Rock am Ring and Rock im Park 2025 and the expansion of EVENTIM LIVE in Asia. Integration of recent acquisitions, including See Tickets and live entertainment assets, is underway, promising future synergies. Ticketing Segment Revenue in the Ticketing segment surged by 22.9% to EUR 564.6 million, driven by diverse events and a geographically expansive portfolio. High-profile artists such as Ed Sheeran and Iron Maiden contributed significantly, alongside successful projects like ticketing operations for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics. CTS EVENTIM also secured the ticketing contract for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina. Global Expansion and Infrastructure Projects The company continues to expand its footprint with acquisitions in Chile, Peru, and France. Major infrastructure projects, such as Italy`s largest indoor arena in Milan and a new venue in Vienna, are progressing as planned. Outlook With strong results through September, CTS EVENTIM reaffirms its forecast for significant EBITDA growth for the full year, supported by ongoing strategic investments and organic expansion. Klaus-Peter Schulenberg, CEO of CTS EVENTIM: “CTS EVENTIM is continuing to deliver stable growth in an increasingly volatile political and economic environment. The strategy of boosting rapid expansion and making the portfolio more financially resilient has proved to be key to our Group’s long-term performance. In the third quarter, factors such as the acquisition of See Tickets, the merger of two strong event companies and the performance of both our EVENTIM LIVE Group and our venue activities enabled us to lay strong foundations for our Group’s long-term success.”
