New Outdoor Concert Series To Launch in Wales

Live Nation promoter Cuffe and Taylor, in partnership with DEPOT Live, is preparing to launch a new series of live gigs in Cardiff. Pending licensing approval, Blackweir Live will kick off with four headline performances, becoming the city’s largest greenfield venue with a capacity of up to 35,000 people. Set in the green space of Blackweir Fields along the River Taff, this venue is expected to host some of the biggest international touring artists, with the four concerts scheduled for select weekends during the summer of 2025. The introduction of Blackweir Live strengthens the collaboration between Cuffe and Taylor and DEPOT Live, who already promote events at TK Maxx presents Cardiff Castle. Over the past two years, the duo has organized nearly 30 shows at the castle, attracting 170,000 attendees this year alone with headliners like Manic Street Preachers, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Avril Lavigne, Smashing Pumpkins, IDLES, and Tom Grennan.
