Peter Gantzler had a definite breakthrough when he became known throughout the country with the leading role Mike in the popular TV series "Taxi". The series has been shown in Danish television the past 3 years and is sold to several other countries.




The Danish newspaper Berlingske Tidende made a portrait of Peter Gantzler: "With his broad chest and his sensitive look in a charming face, he is credible as the type — at the same time rough and gentle, hard-hitting and confused — and his character is probably as close to a hero in an eternal-series as you can get (…)".




P.G. graduated from the Danish National Theatre School in 1990 and debuted shortly after in theatre, TV and film. Up through the nineties he took part in several productions, but after "Taxi" went on air the first time, P.G. became a very popular actor.




With his masculine look P.G. is often casted as the tough macho-man. But his talent is bigger than that. "… certainly he has the perfect appearance as the cowboy of the street. But there is also something beneath the facade" and "… he has also a vein of comics,(…) and he shows a refreshing show talent" (Berlingske Tidende).




P.G. is interested to perform outside Denmark in movies and TV. Experience combined with curiosity and talent is the background for his ambition.
