The “Donauinselfest” has become one of the largest open-air festivals in Europe and each year attracts visitors from around the world. Performances take place on the festival area at a length of 4,5 km on numerous open-air stages and tented areas around the island.

Thanks to the commitment of the organisers, the staff and the sponsoring partners, everyone can enjoy this event for free. The fun festival programme includes a lively blend of music, dancing, entertainment and sports as well as food and drink stalls. Numerous events for children complete the diverse programme.
