...with the help of the fashionably lame debut album from Lizard Music.
These four lads from New Jersey (the final resting place of Jimmy Hoffa) deliver a unique blend of pop-spunk lounge-funk, which, according to Freudian analysis, should make YOU proclaim loudly, "What's in it for me?!" Lizard Music is the melodious twisted brainchild of a brainless child, and for performing once a fortnight for the past four years, the four performers have faired fantastically!

They have been known to freak-out without warning, at any time of the day.

Lizard Music's varied musical influences include Rita Coolidge & Rita Moreno; one might even detect some hat-tipping to The Beatles, Captain Beefheart, The Pixies, The Meters, Sly Stone & Sly Stallone. Soulful and intelligent, Lizard Music are both ahead of and behind their time. Their melodies linger with you like the gas of Christmas passed. If that doesn't sound like pop music, well, you're right. But it IS pop music.

Late last year, the young men slid out to Chicago for a week to unwind and record with the skinny Steve Albini. Together, they conceived Fashionably Lame.

In 1994, Lizard Music unleashed 7 inches of vinyl entitled Cosy Comfort for Slumber Parties with the single "Sugar Blackout". This slab-o-love also appeared on the college-radio only EP Lizard Music Is Coming, released in early April 1995.
