Vibeke Hastrup´s first appearance on the stage, after she graduated from the Danish National Theatre School in 1981, was a great success in a comedy by Neil Simon. Her musicality and sense of timing were and still are beneficial to her, and she has often been offered the comical parts.




However, she has also taken part in cabarets and played the dramatic parts several times. The classics are something she aims to do more of in the future.




Besides performing in theatre V.H. has taken part in film and television plays. And during the past 10 years she has with great success used her voice as a speaker of commercials, animated cartoons, novels and short stories. With her beautiful voice, her musicality, precision and her quick-minded personality she is one of the most used female speakers in Denmark.
