Famous as the influential drummer of Level 42, Gary has gone on to develop his career as a solo artist. Not only a brilliant drummer, Gary is also a fantastic pianist as witnessed by legendary drummer Billy Cobham who commented " His piano playing's one of the best kept secrets in music".

His recently formed 'new' trio comprising Mick Hutton (double bass) and Gene Calderazzo (drums) has received rave reviews from the likes of Jazz UK Magazine and John Fordham of The Guardian, who described their performance as "Quite unexpectedly mind-blowing".

Involving sound effects, synth lines and unusual arrangements of standard tunes, all help distinguish this trio's approach from the more traditional. Gary's original compositions and the trio's adventurous performances indicate that the trio not only challenge, but excite whenever they play.
