Violinst, Alexander Shustin, as primarius of The Stravinsky Quartet he has toured throughout Europe, North America, Mexico and Asia. Along with the various recordings with the NPQ, Mr. Shustin has made several recordings with the St. Petersburg Soloists under the leadership of Oleg Malov on Megadisc Classics.

A graduate of the Novosibirsk Conservatory and post graduate with honors from the Moscow Gnesin Academy of Music, Mr. Shustin s teachers include Nelli Shkolnikova, Galina Turchaninova, Grigori Zhislin and Mathew Lieberman. In 1981 Mr. Shustin received the Laureate of Gumle International Violin competition in Zagreb.
