Born & raised in Southwest Louisiana;
an area most known for it's Cajun food, Mardi Gras celebrations,
and music --
The latter of which, Johnny Moonshine credits as being,

"...a large part of my life, dating back to my childhood,
and having grown up with musicians in the family."

Corey Harrington (born in 1983),
was exposed to a variety of music early in his youth;
Planting the seeds that would later be the roots
of influence for Johnny Moonshine.

"Growing up around a music-oriented culture,
with family & friends who were musicians,
I was brought up listening to a buffet of genres:
1950’s-era Rock-n-Roll, (Traditional) Country / Honky Tonk,
Swamp Pop, Cajun / Zydeco, and Southern Rock."

Fast Forward 2 decades and 2,000 miles away from home,
Johnny Moonshine now hangs his hat in Southern California;

Having fronted bands of various genre (in both Louisiana & California)
including:
Declare War,
Champions Of Stuntfunk,
and
Boomstick Revival

A self-described, "music junkie,"
Moonshine spends his downtime collaborating on various recording projects -
his 2 most recent being,
Moonshine & Friends
and
Glass Diablo.
