Born in London, brought up in Oxford and now based in Leeds, Emily Levy’s sound is both intimate and dynamic. Her musical influences range from folk and jazz to medieval and flamenco. This sound, combined with honest and delicate songwriting create a spellbinding live performance. Emily sings, plays guitar and uses loops and effects to layer live harmonies. Originally classically trained, she now combines this influence with her love of folk, Jazz and contemporary music to create a unique vocal style.
