Daniela Pes (Tempio Pausania, 1992) is an Italian singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist.

Daniela Pes graduated in jazz singing from the Luigi Canepa Conservatory in Sassari, In 2016. She co-founded The Dalthes with Dora Scapolatempore, a duo of harp and voice that electronically reinterprets various jazz repertoires. In 2016, they performed at the Harp Festival in Rio De Janeiro.

Solo Career:
In 2017, she participated in the Andrea Parodi Award, winning both the overall prize and the critics’ award.
In 2018, she took part in the Musicultura Festival, winning the NuovoImaie Award and Best Music.

On April 14, 2023, she released her first studio album, “Spira,” produced by Iosonouncane. The album earned her the Tenco Award for Best Emerging Performer. She promoted the album with an intense concert activity throughout Italy. In October 2023, she appeared on the television show “Via dei Matti nº0” broadcast on Rai 3.

Daniela Pes è immersa nel flusso della musica, come cantante, come strumentista, come musicista elettronica. Il suo è un talento multiforme. Il 14 Aprile 2023 ha pubblicato il suo primo album, SPIRA, prodotto da IOSONOUNCANE. Questo lavoro l’ha vista impegnata negli ultimi tre anni e traccerà la sintesi delle molte vite musicali di Daniela. Arriva infatti al debutto con un curriculum di tutto rispetto che include una laurea in Canto Jazz al Conservatorio di Sassari e una borsa di studio ai Seminari Estivi di Nuoro Jazz diretti da Paolo Fresu, che la porta a esibirsi a Time in Jazz e all’Harp Festival di Rio de Janeiro. Completano il quadro il prestigioso premio Andrea Parodi nel 2017 (dove vince il premio della critica, giuria internazionale, miglior musica e miglior arrangiamento) e il premio miglior musica e il premio Nuovoimaie a Musicultura nel 2018.
