Comspan Communications, Inc. ("Comspan") began its operations in the Soviet Union in 1989. Its activities include production of live entertainment events such as concerts, fashion shows, sporting events, cultural festivals (film), arena shows and corporate events. Committed to bringing more traditional media to the former Soviet Union, Comspan pioneered television distribution and syndication in Russia through a wide range of diverse and popular TV shows, such as Santa Barbara, The Wall Street Journal Report, Crime Story, MTV Video Music Awards, and MTV Unplugged.
Comspan is the most prolific events organizer in Russia today. Working with its Russian partners over the past 12 years, Comspan has developed an extensive infrastructure and network of trained personnel across the former Soviet Union. It is the only company of its type that headquarters in the United States in order to ease communications, legal, accounting, and creative issues on behalf of its sponsors and performing artists.
