Conceived in 2009 by founders Clémence Godard and Tim Palmer, BIRD ON THE WIRE is a wholeheartedly independent promotion and production company staging over 150 concerts, festivals and arts events every year in London, occasionally spreading to regions and countries beyond.

With a passionate and artist focussed approach, BOTW provides tailored and creative live development for the varied roster of unique artists that they have fostered over the years, bringing them to the best established or unconventional venues. The current roster includes The War On Drugs, Mac DeMarco, Moses Sumney, Nils Frahm, Angel Olsen, Weyes Blood, Squid, Black Country, New Road, black midi, Loraine James and many more.

BOTW runs Visions, a one day festival across various Hackney spaces showcasing the best new artists from the alternative, as well as … Will See You Now, a collaborative artist takeover of Margate’s iconic amusement park Dreamland, curates and books a stage at End Of The Road Festival, and has presented art exhibitions such as the first ever Joan Cornellà solo show in London.
