Odd Obsessions was formed in 2020 in the Netherlands. On 1-8-2020 they released their first extended play
called ‘Self-Reflection of A Pessimist’ in collaboration with Bold Studios, marking their official debut! The
band consists of five members, with Roel Smits on lead vocals, Bas Giebels on drums, Roel van Breukelen
on bass guitar and finally with Petar Drandarov and Rens den Otter on guitar. Odd Obsessions identifies
their music with an escape from daily life and the daily dialogue, where people can be their true selves and
expose their craziest, weirdest, or even unidentified obsessions. The band maintains a heavy metal esthetic
with hints of widespread variety of genres, making it a place for everyone to relate to.
