Markus Stockhausen - Germany Studied trumpet and piano in Cologne. Since the age of Seventeen he has worked intensively with his father Karlheinz Stockhausen, performing trumpet roles written for and premiered by him.
He appears internationally as a soloist in classical and contemporary repertoire.
Since 1974 he has been member or leader of various jazz groups. His partners included Rainer Brûninghaus, Jasper van t'Hof,Simon Stockhausen, Nguyën Le, Manos Tsangaris, Michael Riessler, Gary Peacock among others. His work is documented by an extensive discography. He currently teaches at the Cologne Music Academy.
Arild Andersen - Norway A leading bass player in Europe for 25 years. Andersen made his reputation as a member of Jan Garbareks quartet, 1967-73. He has played with many american jazz musicians, in New York with Stan Getz and Paul Bley, also with Kenny Wheeler, Chick Corea, Gary Burton and Don Cherry. In 1982 he founded the group Masqualero which belonged to the élite of european jazz for ten years. In the recent past Andersen has also concerned himself with combining norwegian traditional music and jazz. Most of his music is released on ECM. records. Patrice Heral - France was born in 1965 in Montpellier. He studied percussion with Alain Joule and Barre Philipps, and also jazz at the conservatory in Marseille. Since 1984 he has worked with an impressive number of notable international artists, both musical and theatrical, witnessed by many CD issues. The variety of Heral's work makes him partictilarly creative and flexible, and he is consequently in great demand.
