An Irish singer/songwriter/performer based in London where he has been quietly and purposefully preparing recordings and a unique solo show as current focuses for his own label Starcounter Records. There has been long awaited movement this year at last.

Influences range from Mark Hollis/Talk Talk to Arvo Part to the big feeling music of The Waterboys and Kate Bush. Has played with the Cranberries, Nina Nastassia and Mark Eitzel in the past either with band or solo.
He thinks "Klopp music" is a good adjective for the intensity he feels in his work.

With Celtic influences like Luka Bloom and Paul Brady, he has found a new and invigorating originality to solo performance concurrent with his studio and group oeuvre and this has come to full fruition with the themed show “Heal Thyself Songman!” as it continues its 8th live stream episode this Thursday 4th May, 7PM UK at www.facebook.com/gerlanemusic/live
