Manuela Carrasco Salazar, gypsy flamenco dancer, was born in 1958 in the district of Triana, daughter of Jose Carrasco, the famous dancer "the deaf". Manuela grew up in an environment of flamenco art.
With the age of ten, his family moved to the Costa del Sol to work in the hospitality industry, which is why Manuela begins to wash dishes. However, in his spare time he does not hesitate to attend the tablao "El Jaleo" to admire with desire everything he saw there. It is then that he meets the dancer "Mariquilla", who was amazed by the art of that little girl of only ten years, which was according to her own words "a diamond in the rough." From then on Manuela is hired by the tablao to act.
Always surrounded by great flamenco artists like CAMARON or EL CHOCOLATE. In 1971, as a teenager he toured Belgium, Holland and Germany. From this moment he begins to attend many prestigious festivals and to receive important awards of the genre, both national and international.
