C.J. Marvin
Piano Entertainer
C. J. Marvin was born in Melbourne, Australia in 1964 and moved with his family in 1970 to Trieste, Italy, where he, at the age of eleven, started taking piano and singing lessons. Already three years later he held his first public show in a trio in a local church hall for a paying audience. Marvin has played in several bands (perhaps most famous is "the Marvin Band") and his songs have been played on Italian local and national radio.
Some of the songs have also been used on television. He has done lots of concerts with huge audiences, among them in the famous "Piazza Unita' d'Italia" int Trieste in front of over 6000 people. In 1991 he was on the road. Having replaced the band with digital technology he appeared as a "one man band" on his "Road of Hope Tour", starting off at the Swiss temple of music "Atlantis" in Basel.
The tour took him all across Europe, from Norway to Greece, Austria to Spain, playing clubs, galas and supporting major acts with original songs and covers. A few years later he also played in the US. After producing a couple of singles, C. J. recently issued a ten track CD called "The Travelling Man". 2000 started with a private concert evening in Belgravia (London) which saw C. J. perform for nine consecutive hours. Marvin is untiringly "on the road" and he is always writing new material. He is an entertainer not to be missed.
